Planning to do my annual extension of stay for retirement early next week, at Khon Kaen Immigration Office.

In order to respect social distancing, it would seem logical that Immigration would waive the requirement to show a bank letter of proof that the requisite 800,000 Baht is in the account, settling for an updated pass book. I imagine the bank would not be keen on such a request.

Does anyone have solid experience of this, preferably at Khon Kaen office?

Why not?

The banks are open and allowing in customers.

Most check your temperature and only allow a few people in at a time so relax, your social D concerns

are futile.
