Avoiding any words of wisdom from the Thai govt mainly because they are pretty  clueless, flip  flopping, actually increasing risk for many people, announcing closures so everyone can escape  BKK, letting the Chinese come  in in fact encouraging this with free  visas/special  immigration lanes, changing of  rules with zero notice, not doing online free extensions for foreigners trapped, the stupid and unobtainable "docs cert " "covid  free letters" moving office for  immigration in BKK then moving some of  it  back again <deleted>?

The  misinformation all round..............ALL to be expected.

Other than that I rarely  go out anyway as I have 20 rai to play on alone.................Wife went to TESCO  today they told her her temp was 35c and yesterday her friend was told 32c .......cracking waste of time, so if someone really does  have a  temp of 38c+ it  will probably read below 37c.........Pass.......next, oh  and dont forget the feelthy masks........up down up down, pick out the bogies, stuff  the food in etc, probably wear them for days on end.

So I guess overall Im avoiding Thai which isnt hard as I have little to do with them anyway except  when they like to complain  about something imgainary they think Ive done.............meanwhile this  morning the air stinks cant see the mountains and despite being asked to not  burn my crop and complying at an extra 9-10k all the locals are burning like crazy, so "locals" dont give me those filthy "you aint wearing a mask" look if  im out....which is unlikely

Are shops with maid and nurse uniforms essential businesses?

Deduction from comments so far = level of insanity is closely correlated to time in self isolation!

I'm back in the UK, stuck in doors

Stuck at home all day, but first thing every other morning I go on my motorbike, masked up with alcohol wipes in hand to the supermarket for bread, milk and groceries. No one in there early.

Taking Echinacea and Vitamin C as a prophylaxis...Well, that's what I tell myself.

Then its relax by the pool, or in it splashing about with girlfriend's daughter, maybe read, watch a movie, or cleaning around the house.

Some evenings, as the heat fades, I might go out on my bicycle for some exercise. Masked up again.

I spent 57000 baht on Coronavirus related activity last Week..I got out of Thailand. If I had waited any longer it was 134000 baht the next day. Then the next day ... no flight... cancelled .
there’s no sympathy at home. They are delighted to see me suffer for my silliness in being there in the first place.
money is money ... but life is vital.... lol !
As well as the danger of the pandemic being badly managed in a country that is generally clueless about most things there is now a real threat of lawlessness as the money dries up for those who are used to creaming it from stupid tourists . They will turn their attention elsewhere... Farangs... who they think are living in their country at their expense... not true ..but what has truth got to do with the Thai mentality ... I have nightmare visions of the health minister screaming drive them out ... now ... and make sure they leave their assets behind ... of course.

Artificial corpses?

I go food shopping once per day and combine that with a longer than necessary walk, at a time when the sidewalks and shops aren't crowded. My temperature is typically checked twice. I wear a mask, use hand sanitizer outside and wash my hands thoroughly when I come back. Not exactly fun but it doesn't kill me either.

Where did you go?

Thailand is obviously far away from perfect. But in the moment I also wouldn't want to live in i.e. the UK and US.

Yep, same as me, although the wife says that I am going a little too far as regards protecting myself. I feel she is wrong. ????
