Pol Colonel Itthipol Pongthorn, superintendent of the station said on Monday (March 30) that aside from preventing the risk of infection, the arrangement also help keep a distance between police and people for mutual safety. “Moreover, the police station has implemented Covid-19 preventive measures, such as limiting access to one entrance, scanning people’s temperature , asking them to wear face mask and wash their hands at sanitation point,” he said. So in my humble opinion scanning temperatures is a futile exercise.
