So, no obstruction to the progress of the ship, and the time she reported was the time the Pentagon announced (she never stated the time required was her opininon).  Got it.

Give out antivirals and keep the elderly and at-risk people isolated.  Japan, China, Cuba all have anti-virals that could help with some of the symptoms

 

Extra health care facilities and PPE will not help if you cannot staff them or distribute them, because you have infected these "essential" workers

 

Health care workers and the general public are facing unnecessary risk from uninformed people entering facilities.   1400 or 1.6% of 83,000 cases have died in new york, yet 10's of thousands are seeking treatment.  Triage is needed before allowing these people into any health care facility

On march 19th, Trump said it will be operational next week in new york. The ship was "not" operational in new york the following week,  the statement by trump that it would be operational, was nonsense.

She didnt say its not coming, or not due to arrive, she said it wont be in new york next week, and it wasn't.

The ship looks nice HOWEVER It will NOT take patients that have the Corona virus. Repeat; They will not accept corona virus patients.

 

Patients with other problems can be sent there, however they have to be routed through a hospital  first and then sent to the ship. A number have been sent back because what the navy wants for protocol to admit has not been told to the hospitals, nor e mailed when asked by e mail. Hospitals are overloaded and do not have the time send staff to determine what & who they can send and under what protocols. You would think that the Navy would supply the info but they have not as of today.

 

It sits there. A white sea going elephant, symbol of what an immense clusterpuck the US response to this pandemic has been.
