Captain_Bob
It's not so hot in/around Chiang Mai, 34c mid-afternoon and nights still use blanket, but as usual desperate for any rain! Or anything to clear the crappy air and put a dent in the AQI.

Denim
Been 41 on our balcony in the shade for the last 3 days. 41 in the living room. Out in the sun my thermometer registered 47 and I believe it. Never known heat like it. Lots of our garden plants have burnt leaves despite getting watered every day.
Forza2002
We have had this BS warning every week for the past month and yet there hasn't been a drop of rain in over a month where I live in Chiang Mai... I wish the fluck it would rain, give us some relief from the poisonous air we have to breathe every day...

Just imagine millions of Thais actually staying inside during a complete lockdown in the heat and humidity and with no air con in those really cheap flats

That's why a lot of them decided to return home to their villages and who can blame them. Be tough to stay cooped up in a concrete sweatbox for who knows how long .

Just had a bit of that predicted storm tonight so hopefully that will take the edge off it.

Nothing to compare with 2016 so far which was the hottest spell for 65 years, but warm all the same, its Summer in Thailand -its impossible to fully prepare for it, I just crank up the AC and sod the expense!
Venom
Hot like hell, in the middle of a pandemic lockdown in the most polluted city on the planet (by double this morning) where breathing is hazardous to your health.
