OneMoreFarang
I am not sure if that is normal in many hospitals. I saw today COVID-19 Drive Thru in the Vibhavadi Hospital https://www.vibhavadi.com/vibha1580 I don't know the price, I was there for a regular visit. I think it's a great idea. People can get tested with as little contact as possible to others.

Farangwithaplan
There is a hospital near Ministry of Public Health that was offering tests for about 2000 baht when this first started. When their beds got full the price jumped substantially.
andy72
why would you spend 5400 for someone to tell your ill its a bloody useless test we need an antibody test ! yes, i know if you take this test and its positive you dont need an antibody test if you get sick at this point good bloody chance you got irt save yer cash the drive throughs in the UK no one used them some one invented a portable kit $100 plus $5 for the swabs could do six tests at a time so 5400 is bang out of order its 400 baht over what the gov is doling out for a months survival

Sounds like it's most likely 5,400 baht, let us know when you get the test. I'll wait for the antibody test

The solutions haven’t arrived yet and ‘everything’ is being thrown at this fight - so what makes you think overwhelming the health services and a greater number of deaths will bring ‘solutions’ any faster than ensuring a critical healthy workforce on the front lines to research and fight this virus? ThailandRyan
If I could get a burger and fries, maybe some onion rings with my drive through test, I might be moved to go...But it would have to include a supersize milkshake...
