Sudden changes by aviation authorities leave Thais overseas and their families frustrated

Maybe they should have followed Vietnam's arriving passenger quarantine handling? As far back as 3 weeks ago, inbound flights were redirected to military airfields and there was no option for foreigners OR locals to avoid detention and monitoring in the less than 4-star accommodations that were provided.

If the Thai government has set up quarantine facilities in Sattahip, why weren't the planes diverted to U-Tapao instead? That's maybe a 20- minute bus ride from Sattahip. Harder for many of the passengers to insist on being allowed to go home when you are already more than 170 km from it.

It appears that this virus has exposed the decision making system in Thailand for what it has been for a number of years...dysfunctional...   Lots of chiefs...barking orders...without a cent

Mr Watana is <deleted> off because his daughter had to delay her return due to Thai government orders ... Apparently they do not know ' who he is ...'

  • Tough s#:t. Follow international law just like everyone else does.

Most hiso Thais would simply arrange for a hitman to make their problem go away. Are the elite getting soft???

So he just needs to suck it up.  Everyone else is in the same boat and it looks like the flight stoppage was increased for 14 more days...

Yep, another 14 days. Wow.

No doubt, that would include the government and it's leader? ????

I've been banned for saying less than that!
