California doctor claims spicy Thai dish left her with chemical burns
I'm always asked if I want "spicy" in Thai restaurants in Pattaya. And I've never ever heard a Thai say "No can do". "Cannot" is usual. And when would a waiter or waitress say they can't vary the heat? Are you making this stuff up? -

Form 7162 Anybody Received Theirs Yet for 2024?
Same here too. Interestingly, On 19 June 2024, my wife received her 7162 form did Jun. 06, 2024. We waited a few days to receive mine before mailing the form(s) back and mine never arrived. Until yesterday. On 28 June 2024 she emailed hers back to the SSA. I completed a blank form and mailed my &7162 form back to the SSA on 10 August 2024. Neither of us have received a second 7162 notice for failing to report in response to the first mailing. I'm going to complete the one I received yesterday and mail it back anyways. I reached out to the Philippines SSA for assistance in June and they were of no help.... -

Gold Theft at Lotus Chanthaburi Mall, Suspect Flees with 1-Baht Gold Ring
A gold robbery took place on the morning of October 24, at the Lotus Mall in Chanthaburi, where a male suspect escaped with a 1-baht gold ring from the Yaowarat gold shop located inside the shopping complex. The suspect, described as a man in his early 30s, was wearing a yellow short-sleeved shirt, had dark red-brown skin, and a tall, stocky build. He sported a high-cut hairstyle and was concealing his face with a mask. The man initially posed as a customer and requested to see gold necklaces and rings. After asking to purchase a gold ring weighing 1 baht, the sales clerk presented him with the item. He then asked to see another design, and when the employee turned away to retrieve it, the suspect seized the opportunity. Taking advantage of the relatively quiet period in the store, the suspect quickly grabbed the 1-baht gold ring and fled the scene, running towards a red Suzuki Swift car with license plate from Chonburi. He was seen heading towards Tha Mai District in Chanthaburi. The CCTV images of his escape also shows that the car appeared to have a child onboard. Local police launched a manhunt, set up checkpoints and were in pursuit of the suspect. Crime scene investigators arrived at the mall to gather evidence and expand their investigation. Later on the afternoon of October 24, a concerned citizen reported a suspicious vehicle believed to have been used in the heist. The car was found abandoned in Village 3, near Huai Ta Bo, in Ang Khiri Subdistrict. Pol. Col. Yodchai Champathong, Deputy Commander of Chanthaburi Provincial Police, and Pol. Col. Seksan Sriperat, Superintendent of Chanthaburi City Police Station, along with officers from the provincial investigation unit, the city police, and Makham District Police, rushed to the scene to examine the vehicle and gather evidence. It is believed the suspect and child were meet at this location by another vehicle. Investigators are working to track the movements of the suspect and are confident that the abandoned car will provide crucial leads in their pursuit. The authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity as the search for the suspect continues. CCTV images of the suspect. -- 2024-10-25 -

Why Kamala Harris was always destined to lose
Having said that I will take a flawed character that may be a halfway decent president over a career politician who's a cackler, a wannabe marxist, failed to stop illegal immigrants, and is completely insincere about her proposals.- 1

California doctor claims spicy Thai dish left her with chemical burns
Never had them before but, do fancy the name and, the name, in and of itself, sounds like something that would be hot and spicy. Maybe not enough sugar in this batch? Whenever my wife makes some som tam (which seems like every day!) it's a coughing/choking/runny nose affair but, that's how she likes it (sometimes too hot for her reles). Seems like a good opportunity to use that Thai line; the doctor says she tasted her friends Dragon Balls (the food from the restaurant) the other day and they weren't as hot to which the waiter gets to reply "Same same but different". Trial should be a banger; Dr. Walia how often do eat Dragon's Balls? In your previous experience, what was your favorite part of the Dragon's Balls? Could you please describe for the court the size and shape of said Dragon's Balls? Have you ever have to treat a patient with Dragon's Balls?
