webfact Posted April 21, 2020 Share Posted April 21, 2020 Thai Smile seeks to resume flights only on June 1 By The Nation Thai Smile has informed the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) that it wants to postpone reactivation of its flights from May 1 to June 1, CAAT director-general Chula Sukmanopy said. The airline, which had previously halted flights from April 7-30, was due to resume flights on May 1. It made the request to the CAAT on April 20. According to Chula, a number of airlines have requested permission to resume flights on May 1 and this is being considered. Thai Airways has halted all its flights from March 25 until May 31.
