Thai Smile has informed the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) that it wants to postpone reactivation of its flights from May 1 to June 1, CAAT director-general Chula Sukmanopy said.

The airline, which had previously halted flights from April 7-30, was due to resume flights on May 1. It made the request to the CAAT on April 20.

According to Chula, a number of airlines have requested permission to resume flights on May 1 and this is being considered.

Thai Airways has halted all its flights from March 25 until May 31.

Didn't I read that they have extended to July 1st ?

All this seem clear indicators that there will be no significant domestic tourism and no way to think about foreign tourists anytime soon.
