Thai Visa Elite Option

Featured Replies

There are other benefits to the Elite Visa depending on individual circumstances. I run my own business in HK and China, my products are also distributed in Thailand. 1 year ago China changed its tax regime such that if you stay in China 6 months and 1 day you pay tax on global earnings at 40% (depending on your income). So I decided to live in Thailand for 6 months of the year. To get an Elite Visa you just need a copy of your passport and Baht 500k, no need to prove where your money is coming from and no restrictions on how many times you enter or stay, no need to pay tax, for 500k you get a lot of flexibility and the cost if very quickly offset by avoiding the tax man.
