Northwest Seating

Featured Replies

I am flying NW 28 to America soon. It is a 17 hour flight to San Fran with a stop in Tokyo. Anyway, can anyone who has flown that flight recently tell me which aisle of seats has the legroom blocked with that dumb box under the chairs for video equipment? I hate getting those seats, and they don't post that kind of information on the seating charts. The aircraft seating arrangement is 2 - 4 - 2. (AB-CDFG-HJ) The aircraft is A330-200.

If anyone has come or gone from Bangkok on NW 28 and can remember this (maybe from a bad experience), please remind me.

Thanks,

Drew

Drew, I feel your pain. I was lucky from Minneapolis to Tokyo, I took a 747 where the leg room wasn't bad. From Tokyo to Bangkok it was the 330. It wasn't bad flying there as no one was in the seat next to me so I could stretch out. Flight out was very cramped. It was only about a 5 hour flight on the 330 for me.

Move the cursor over each seat to see the message identifying where the dumb boxes are. Have a nice flight.

So basically all of coach. If you have elite status you could try for a exit row seat. You just won't have any floor storage.

All chairs have that "dumb video equipment" under the chairs in the NWA A330's.

Thanks all, That link for Seat Guru had the information that I need right on top of its page.

Quote:

The video equipment blocks your underseat room in Economy seats A,D,F,J except bulkheads.

Funny how this information is not available from the Northwest agents.

I booked for Seat G, hope there is no video equipement.

Thanks,

Drew
