Never mind the Chinese what about the golf courses? Has anyone heard when they will open again?

Can you wait your turn please.

There are more people asking for Lifting the Alcohol ban first.

Its a matter of life or death for some of them. :burp:

Thailand or any other country should not allow Chinese tourists ever to come back because as we know this will not be the last pandemic out of China the last three have started there and there will be a fourth and fifth ect. do they need the tourist dollars that much, You can count up the Chinese tourist dollars from the last ten years and this pandemic would have cost more than that.

I will not be sitting in any place with Chinese any time soon, lets get a definitive answer on how/where the virus escaped/started first.

because blanket bigotry against an entire race/nationality is the answer here and a "definitive answer" will stop the spread across the world.

What about the expats living in Pattaya? Will they be happy with the Chinese using their "all you can eat" buffets, cr@pping on the kerbside and in taxis, peeing on the airport train, and not to forget the

spreading of disease again?

I think Mr Fill was being sarky!

“We want to keep new daily confirmed cases in single digits for as long as possible, till the spread of the virus outside Thailand starts falling,” he said.

That's not going to happen. Around about the 20th of May expect to see an increase in cases due to more extensive testing. The government has already said it intends to increase testing. How big the increase will be makes no difference just so long as it is in double figures. Once this has been achieved the emergency will be extended to the end of June for the ' benefit and safety ' of the Thai people.

By such methods this junta government will cling to power like a pit bull with a death grip. And a death grip it will be , because when you yourself and all your friends and the people that matter have sufficient wealth to see them through any economic crash , then the fate of the ordinary people is not of much serious consequence.

Nothing new in this attitude.

As Marie Antoinette might have put it :    ' Let them eat rice and fish sauce '

That's probably referring to the wishes expressed by the Bangkok administration.

From the reports on here, Prayut quashed that last night.

refer the other thread Thai govt issues order extending emergency measures - alcohol ban unclear.

You might know the Chinese are the first ones they are wanting to enter Thailand. The ones that started all this and the ones that don't contribute to any of the thai businesses. They only do business with Chinese owned businesses that are part of their tour group.

You never hear anything about the expats with visas that are stranded in other countries and still can't return to our homes in Thailand. The foreigners that actually contribute to the Thai economy.

Quite correct, many farangs are waiting to return to see their thai partners. They contribute to the economy and society. The hordes of chinese just come and go, dare I say like this virus.

Seems like that may have changed again and golf will be allowed.

You will need to keep rechecking to see which way  the wind blows.

I don't like waiting on a golf course, why should I have to wait for tosspots?

Golf is life itself, a test of character.

Be patient.

You will have to wait for the tosspots in front of you on the course to finish their hole,

A real test of character.

Can't argue with that, seen plenty of golfers here that play like drunks.

I already heard a 5-year old saying this yesterday...

All the Thai Visa posts that are and were in support of either British conservative policies along with American political agendas, both Republican and DEM, all are the ones that have honored such 'moronic' and 'blind faith' in the establishments.

Sure, we need them.
