The Ministry of Finance on Thursday morning (April 30), opened a centre to receive complaints about implementation of the government's cash handout initiative.

Staff at the front office of the ministry have set up a space, taking precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The scheme offers self-employed people Bt5,000 a month for three months.

In the past, people have come to complain to the ministry about their applications being rejected. Some have even attempted suicide.

That is all very well but who can you go and complain to if you live in Isaan?! Are there regional complaints offices?

So they'll receive complaints. Doesn't say they will do anything about them.

They have now placed one government representative in each village.

He or she, is more than happy to listen to your complaint. Whether or not it will be acted upon, remains to be seen. ????

I assume the complaints will go into their special filing cabinets.
