Exactly - it's not just "one or the other".  I can detest Trump for not keeping his campaign promises, and still not take the side of the CCP, who blocked Wuhan-residents from access to the rest of China, while letting them travel to the rest of the world.

Heard this waffle before when the world was told that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and the US had 'overwhelming evidence' even though the inspectors found nothing. And after the illegal invasion, nothing was found.

The scientific experts have explained that the virus has not been man-made or laboratory modified but that is an inconvenient truth. It doesn't fit in with the re-election plans so better to make up some fake bogeyman story for the masses. Depends who you want to believe really - the expert scientists reporting on evidence or a power crazed old man desperate for attention.

On January 14 the WHO virologist (an American) issued a warning that a new viral type of pneumonia, which up until that time had killed only a few dozen people in China, had the potential to become a worldwide pandemic if steps were not taken. According to Reuters in Geneva, WHO said there may have been limited human-to-human transmission of a new coronavirus in China within families, and it is possible there could be a wider outbreak.

 

On January 30 the World Health Organisation issued its highest level warning with regard to the virus.

 

Now I fail to see how anybody could have done anything else than what was done at the time, and the reason it has spread and tens of thousands have died, along with world markets dying as well, is because countries like the UK and US did not take the same actions as the likes of Germany.

this is all small potatoes.  we have "significant evidence" that proves to a "high degree of confidence" that the virus escaped from the wuhan lab.  all that other stuff is now irrelevant.  they let the virus out, they're responsible.

 

the evidence is what matters.  i for one am eagerly awaiting the presentation at the united nations.  wonder if they'll call back general powell to run the show?  he can shake some wee, tiny vials of powdered corona, maybe draw infection zones on a map with a sharpie.
