Silpakorn University has set aside a fund of Bt130 million to help students amid the Covid-19 crisis this semester.

Some students will be handed scholarships while a refund on university fees will also be made available.

The fund will also be spent on creating online courses and providing internet sim cards for students. The cards will be given to students free of charge in order to facilitate their online studies.

The Bangkok university also aims to reduce dormitory fees and give present and former students jobs so they have an income during the virus crisis.
