Jonathan Fairfield
Covid-19 Charity Drive: Hemingways Restaurant in Jomtien goes that extra mile At a time when many Thais are finding it hard just to feed their families during this pandemic, many Expat business has risen to the challenge to help. One such business that has gone way and beyond is Hemingway’s Restaurant and Bar in Jomtien. Their manager Mark Reid has been passionately raising funds in order to feed local Thais struggling at the moment. He has been an inspiration and his efforts must have ensured thousands have been able to eat and drink during this pandemic. Mark’s latest support was to go and pick 500kg of Mango from an orchard in Koh Chan, of which would then be distributed to 4 local charities. The whole trip was documented on a vlog. Great stuff Mark and team! You can watch the video below.
