Motorists are not zipping anywhere on this road just now. Still closed with all entrances/ exits blocked and signs covered up. I wonder if they confused May with June?

It might be the famous 31st June that the government have announced, it'll be handy having an extra day more than everyone else in the world

Actually there is no 'any of the middle exits'

There is the Ambassador entry/exit and then the split at the end to UTP and Ban Chang.

Note!!. in my post #20, I explained the road system for the new motorway portion, #36 and #331. Worth reading for people not that familiar with the area.

A map would have been better. Anyone got a map?

I got a message from a Thai friend saying it opened at 1600 this afternoon.

The burning question

Has anyone 'zipped' yet??

if it is opening on the 22nd then one could assume that it IS COMPLETE !!!

Just seen a dash-cam video of a drive down south yesterday (it has a Thai language comment).

Of course its complete. All (or most) concrete surface, the whole stretch with floodlight poles!

Light-years from what I see daily.

If they do not enforce strict speed checks this will be a mad racetrack for the coming months.

The only unfinished part(?) seem to be the exits?

On the video they are all blocked with pylons/barriers.

May be this changes on short note.

No 4WD needed

Not sure which of the (closed) exits this is:
