Thailand Shares COVID-19 Experience with China and Singapore

 

   

BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand, China, and Singapore held an online national academic conference on health and environmental promotion. The three countries shared their experiences in fighting against COVID-19.

 

Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health attended the online conference with China, and Singapore’s medical sector representatives, to exchange ideas and experiences in solving the crisis resulting from COVID-19.

 

As for Thailand, over the past 5 months, the country has been receiving good cooperation from its citizens and hard work from medical staff. The effort has resulted in fewer patients every day. The expression that is regularly heard in Thailand now is New Normal, which includes social distancing, wearing masks, and regular cleaning that will help prevent a reoccurrence in the future.

 

During the conference, Mr. Anutin confirmed that Thailand has enough medical equipment, and medicines for all patients, while a vaccine is being sought by scientists.

Thailand experience-- We got lucky.  Oops, we can't say that.  Thanks to our quick thinking and planning, we've always been one step ahead of covid.
