Heavy rains with gusty winds are forecast for the Northeast, the East and the Southwest coast.

The Thailand Meteorological Department said a moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and Thailand while a low-pressure cell covers the Gulf of Tonkin. It has urged people to beware of the severe conditions. Wind waves in the Andaman Sea are likely to be 1-2 metres high and more than two metres high during thundershowers. Ships have been advised to proceed with caution.

They got it spot  on for KK, big storm and as usual a boat would have been the preferred  choice rather than the car.

For the last few days now there's been a lot of rain inland in Chonburi and Rayong provinces, but nothing on the coast. Pattaya's drought continues unabated by the weather warnings. Please send some rain this way.
