They can wonder all they want - if you're using a properly-configured VPN they can't say one way or the other, what you're using it for.

 

For example I always use a VPN when logging on to any banking or financial website, to prevent my username, password, PIN etc, being snooped on. I also use it if I'm on a non-secure WiFi network (and for other things too).
