Pattaya: Thai man goes berserk with a fork claiming someone was out to get his wife and child

Police and rescue services were called to Chaiyaporn Withee Road in the Pattaya area around 11.30 pm after 32 year old Pheerachai went crazy.

 

His wife and child were in fear in a roadside shelter as the man, dressed in jeans shorts without shirt, brandished a fork. 

 

When Nong Prue police got to the scene things got worse with the crazed individual climbing on a car and claiming that people were out to get his family.

Finally with the help of members of the public the man was subdued and taken to Nong Prue police station to calm down and get a drug test. 

 

Siam Chon News said the incident occurred near a housing estate and caused considerable consternation resulting in the road being sealed off.

Since I have never seen one here I thought they were referring to a fork used for eating...........

 

I know my eyesight is bad but isn't the picture showing some sort of metal grate - I can't see a fork? 

Personally, I never found taking a fork to a knife or gun fight, that much use. 

Other than the slim chance you might gouge out the eyes of your opponent, the fork simply isn't that scary..

I couldn't give a fork about this.

 

Well, Someone had to say it!

He thought he had problems! A couple of months ago I upset my neighbor and he came at me with a razor. Thank God it wasn't switched on!

Is it just me or is all this endless thai drama getting so so so hard to take...

The police said later, no problem.... He was just forking about.

They took him for a drug test?  He's already passed the dope test.

So many fork jokes to make here, but i can't be forked.

just another drug user nutter  .... lock him up.

He gives new meaning to the age-old idiom "dishing it out..."

Could you imagine if he had a big set of chop sticks?
