May 29, 20205 yr We use Soda Ash to help clear our well water before using it to irrigate the garden. It used to be available from Global House in a sack of lumps of varying sizes that we could put in the gravity aerator on the top of the tank, but recently I've only been able to find it as a powder. The lumps would dissolve slowly and it was an easy way to manage the process. Powder is a PITA to use and is very messy. Does anyone know where I can buy it around Chiang Mai in rock form? That's probably not Soda Ash but gives you an idea of the lumps which varied from about 4 to 10 inches and a couple of inches thick.
