Phoenixsun28
Has any policy been identified as a good, reputable company offering health insurance that satisfies the criteria as stated in the official memorandum from the government? 1) Coverage worth at least 100K USD 2) Coverage includes COVID-19 Specifically, any Thai company that meets these requirements? I'm inquiring for my Filipino girlfriend (WP holder), so any American/British policies are almost certainly non-applicable (although I am also curious to know if there are any policies in the West that satisfy this criteria either). Thanks in advance

Peter Denis
In another thread @G Rex mentioned he got a Covid-19 insurance from Regency Insurance (which I believe is a thai company) and that he got all the documents to satisfy the thai authorities for his return. https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1166281-foreigners-allowed-to-enter-thailand-on-case-by-case-basis/?do=findComment&comment=15468929

Did you e-mail them to get that correspondence? Also, where are you from, if you don't mind my asking.

ChouDoufu
i've been looking for insurance for me and thai gf to possibly return this summer. this one might do, with very reasonable costs. Safe Travels International is for Non US Citizens and Non US Residents while traveling outside their Home Country, but not visiting the United States. It can provide coverage for you, your spouse/domestic partner/traveling companion and dependent children/grandchildren. This plan does not cover USA. https://www.trawickinternational.com/ the agent i contacted also had some policies with covid cover that appeared to be for us citizens only. i don't know what sort of certificate they provide. https://americanvisitorinsurance.com/trawick-international/buy-safe-travels-outbound-cost-saver.asp Edited May 31, 2020 by ChouDoufu
