Khun Prayut has done an excellent job in curbing the COVID19 infection rate and transmission of the virus. Stringent measures were put in place as needed and on the whole most Thai's agreed with these

Considering there has been minimal social distancing on the B.T.S, especially during peak times, along with a free for all, with no social distancing, at markets around the country, maybe it's time to

Patients l am not satisfied that l have starved out Pattaya and destroyed enough lives..As a self appointed stand over man it's my duty to destroy all entertainment venues with this fake virus which is merely a bacteria made by China. I'm licking Chinese ass in line for new Pattaya Chinese casino. Who cares about poor Thais and there business. I'm rich lol.

Let one of your Ministers order a Songkran festival instead which will ensure no social distancing and allow dirty water to spread infections around.

Please, please, please Gen Prayut.....reimpose the alcohol ban and the curfew. Save lives....not from the Covid but from road accidents.

Even a partial curfew would be ok....no men drivers.

I still have hope that the stupid water fights will not be allowed because of the masks. But on the other hand after opening the nightlife the further usage of masks would be very questionable anyway. Perhaps with July 1st they will be history. Corona perhaps not...

You must be joking to say something like that. And if you are not then you must be a load of fun at a teetotaler party.

I think this guy likes extreme power too much, and as such since he has tons of money why should he care about the peons.

If there is no covid-19 in the country why is there the need for masks, QR codes and social distancing.

Exactly my feeling.

I see more and more stupid gimmicks and odd behaviour increasing every day which is apparently to try to stop the virus.. a lot more than when there was actually some danger.

Yesterday in a shopping mall, they have scan app thing to check in, foot / shoe baths to walk through, gel to squirt on your hands, temperature checks

Then one inside they have traffic lights on the escalators beeping when it's safe to go on them, more foot baths, more scans and temperature checks at every shop you go in, pluas sign out each time from every shop, red lines and X's on the floor telling you where to stand, plastic screens, staff in gloves, facemasks, face shields.

Then at food court all the same, and you have to scan your own pay card, take you worn dishes to the cleaning trolly. Of course check in and check out, before having your change handed to you in a plastic sleeve for no reason at all.

We had to laugh at the high so couple in the coffee shop trying to drink their coffee with a straw through their masks and face shields, who were looking at us with disgust as we took our mask off to drink ours.

Then people taking down their masks to sneeze to stop their masks getting wet, before pulling them back on. And the people squashed together in the lines to sign in and out, will less social distances then than would normally happen without it.

It's like a crazy comedy film but in real life.

I left BKK at the end of March, I figured correctly that a small town in Essex, UK, would be less hassle than in Bangkok, looks like I was correct. It was just starting to get OTT in Bangkok when I left, I know for sure that I would have hated these conditions in malls and shops. When/if all of this BS calms down and when/if I'm allowed back in, then I look forward to seeing Thailand again.

Totally agree but for a solid two months my market was jammed & everyone wore a mask, same on BTS according to Sigg. Say what you will, Italy, the US and Brazil are paying a price because they did not get serious about masks.

Apparently it can be passed through the eyes and even if it can't you believe these masks (most cloth) are protecting people?

Research says that you need to be exposed for a amount of time but most people are giving it to themselves by touching their faces after touching a contaminated surfaces.

the objective simply to let the infection run its course without infecting the general population

I would guess the general population cares little if colonels and below get covid-19.

The alcohol ban only affected foreigners. Do you really think Thais didn't just go to their local shop or illegal alcohol shop and buy?

Sooner or later Thais will take off the masks In my viliage they dont hardly wear maskes any more Yesterday the kids were playing net ball in the park and not one of them wore a mask
