tribalfusion001
Didn't know where to post this. More threats from the CCP about Hong Kong to the UK response. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8389141/China-warns-UK-prepare-substantial-damage-economy-Hong-Kong.html Edited June 4, 2020 by tribalfusion001 Link to comment
Popular Post yuyiinthesky
Big bully is bullying again. Worked so often, even the proud NBA did kiss their feet. Now with the world being occupied with their virus, they push forward even more. Very worrying. 6 Link to comment
Popular Post daveAustin
Quote 'The coronavirus has hit the UK hard, and it is currently suffering its worst peacetime downturn in centuries…' Yep, and all down to you lot and your habits. Thanks. Quote Mr Zhao called for Britain to 'abide by basic norms of international law and international relations' and 'immediately stop interfering in Hong Kong's affairs and China's internal affairs'. That's a bit rich. Pot - kettle - black. People can now drop the Boris anti-immigrant line... the Brexit thing is mostly about having choice on who comes in and glad the door is open for HK folk. Regards potential trade deal, I hope it does go south. Would sooner get back in bed with the EU than dance with the devil. China needs a massive boot right up its ass! 5 2 Link to comment
Popular Post timendres
Quote Beijing's state-controlled outlet The Global Times declared that Britain would have more to lose than China should a free trade agreement between the two nations fall through. More of this rhetoric. Time to call the CCP's bluff and shut 'em down. Talk about having a lot to lose. China is on a cliff's edge. Hence the lashing out. 4 2 1 Link to comment

talahtnut
The UK should sort out its own social inequality problems before it sticks its pink snout into China, but all the 5 eyes puppets and other sub-puppets will dance to the same tune from their pay masters in Washington, accompanied by heaps of propaganda. Not sure what most of that conspiratorial rant is about. But on the question of the UK interfering in China affairs. All I see is a country doing, what it should have done back in 1997 and offering full British passports to Hong Kong residents who hold BNO's. Which to all you Brits should be an eternal shame on you, since you never made that distinction for Falkland Islands or Gibraltar who hold full British passports https://homeofficemedia.blog.gov.uk/2020/05/29/media-factsheet-hong-kong-bnos/ Link to comment
robblok
UK wont be protected by the EU so China can threaten them. Now that the UK stands alone they are more vulnerable. UK is now a small player nothing more (compared to China). Link to comment
baansgr
Tie this in with what's happening at present....shows just how racist the UK is...offering a clear path to Citizenship for 3 million BNOs Link to comment
englishoak
Sooo just as HK is being restricted and likely closed down as a free financial hub of safe banking and commerce the city of London decouples and guarantees its continued regulatory independence. All coincidental of course... not. The powerful and rich, Global AND Chinese financially all want somewhere safe to park and clean their wealth, move to offshore, protect privacy, obfuscate scrutiny etc. with Brexit 100% happening its virtually guaranteed thats now going to be primarily the City London, just as intended and wanted which in turn, allows China to swallow up HK without so much fuss as would have been made. Banking finance and interests have somewhere to go now which is even better than free HK, the place that made it, the City Of London ???? if people really think its random HKs demise is going on at the same time as the COL becomes once again free from meddling regulation or oversight by the EU, they arnt paying attn Link to comment
UKresonant
They are putting the new law into force the news says, so I presume we are about to be "damaged". Still, there is circa >-£21.355 Billion (ONS Oct 19 data) to level up in the first instance...hopefully that will be fast tracked as well ......???? Edited June 30, 2020 by UKresonant Link to comment
