Peeping tom was peeping at "tom" - police called but 50 year old neighbor stays inside

Thai media reported that a "tomboy" who works for the Bang Bua Thong municipality called the police after she caught her 50 year old next door neighbor spying on her.

 

The neighbor was wearing only a pair of shorts and after an altercation he disappeared inside the house. 

 

This happened at a luxury housing estate in Bang Len sub-district of Bang Yai, Nonthaburi where Neeranuch, 36, lives with her female partner and another woman on a two story property on 90 square wah of land. 

 

Neeranuch told 77kaoded that she was tending to some vegetables at 7.12 pm in her garden when she felt she was being spied upon.

 

She looked up to see her neighbor peering over the wall.

She asked him what he thought he was doing and was he a pervert. She reminded him that they had installed CCTV.

 

He allegedly replied: "Why can't I have a look?"

 

The victim's partner came out and whipped out her phone for further evidence and the police were contacted. 

 

The victim said they all felt very unsafe in the house. When they moved in they noticed someone had tampered with the adjoining wall so they installed CCTV.

 

She thinks her neighbor deserves to be committed. 

 

Police went next door but the man refused to come out. A summons will be issued to see if there is a case to answer.

It's a bit much when you can't tend to the cucumbers in the privacy of your own garden.

Yea you would not be against a female.. seems you got a bit of a problem.

 

Perfectly normal to build a high wall. My wall next to my neighbor is high too (higher as a normal person standing). Its all about creating a bit of privacy. Nothing wrong with that. 

 

Not saying that the guy is a perv or anything but i see no reason why the guy has to look into her property. Especially as its clear is high and he needs to put in extra effort. If I had my neighbor watching me id ask him what he was doing. 

 

Peeping toms or not.. spying on others is not done. Only weirdo's do that IMHO

My neighbour looks over the wall all the time and I never complained to the police.
