I was following two live streams in London and various Twitter feeds. I've seen a few clips of Newcastle city centre and the same for Bristol, the others nothing. Leeds and Cardiff tomorrow for more of the same.

Yet the commentary accompanying the footage pointed out the swarm of press photographers taking pictures like that for MSM consumption while missing the far bigger picture heli-telly etc was showing in real time.

 

Many years ago I recall a famous picture taken on the streets of Belfast to mark an anniversary. The picture was of a youth throwing a brick/petrol bomb at troops and looked very dramatic. A short time later the SAME photo appeared but this time the full frame revealed a large number of photographers getting him to throw-to-order in what had clearly been a set up for which the youth had been paid.

I was flicking back and forth between ruptly and helicopter cam. It's a still complete mess with no end in sight.

Tooled up, they are the police not football hooligans. It was no different to last weekend but this time there was an opposing side and the police. Some of the dumb lads decided to pick fights with larger groups and they didn't do very well.

Some of those patriots got a hell of a kicking from the street kids. I've noticed they are all kicking off on the anti-antifa Facebook groups tonight about unfair 20 onto 1 fights, like it wouldn't happen the other way round.

Expect the usual suspects to arrive later with their defence of the statues pish despite there not being a statue in sight and BLM cancelling their demo.

Maybe this is the enemy that will move in from the movement of BLM, it feels like a revolutionary movement now.
