The Chinese government are starting to get worried about the new outbreak, thank Buddha Thailand hadn't already started to allow them to come back here and spit on the pavements:

Why 100 new cases is relevant when there are 100 thousands new eveey day in the world.

Seriously, who cares?

It's relevant when China was on the list to be in a ''bubble''

to have free tourists flux with Thailand (And the talks about it have had

already started beetwen the 2 countries) because they have 0 new cases since weeks.

What's with the persistent belief among many farangs that the Thais get nothing from Chinese tourists?

You heard of zero dollar tours?

Nope, didn't think so.

COVID-19 Can Last for Several Months

The disease’s “long-haulers” have endured relentless waves of debilitating symptoms—and disbelief from doctors and friends.

the 2nd wave in Iran is worse than the 1st

I agree it is exaggerated by not only the media. If you check the daily cases with other countries here, you will know who is exaggerating.

Some countries run into the thousands. If it's less than 100 per day, it is under control.

They just shut down all the schools and cancelled the flights out of Beijing airport.

Exaggerated, lol, if anything there's a cover up going on.

It was in the international news too.  Looks like big daddy didn’t like it, so they made up a person in Beijing.

why would Thai people worry, they are all here ????, except for her, of course

The number per day is changing to be above whatever is happening in China. When that type of scheme was first introduced, it was 20/day since China was below that at the time. Now that they are above it, let's move it to 100/day.

Why, why, why do companies 'cut their own throats' by selling their products to Chinese competitors?

I believe it takes about 3 years for a salmon to grow large enough to eat.

Effects of Air Temperature and Relative Humidity on Coronavirus Survival on Surfaces -- March 2010

(From Abstract) At 4 degrees C, infectious virus persisted for as long as 28 days, and the lowest level of inactivation occurred at 20% RH. Inactivation was more rapid at 20 degrees C than at 4 degrees C at all humidity levels; the viruses persisted for 5 to 28 days, and the slowest inactivation occurred at low RH.

Note: Per linked article above, the train trip for fresh salmon from Norway to China would be 12-14 days.

Well, I for one would not like to eat fresh salmon that's been kept at +4 degrees C for 12-14 days......

Yeah, I believe they freeze it for longer journeys.

Fresh Norwegian salmon on the train to China -- JULY 2019

Temperature control
A more practical consideration is temperature control along the journey, and this is something that is already in development. The technology from BluWrap should ensure that the fish stays fresh all the way, explained Blomster.

The technology company uses oxygen management techniques to create and maintain an all-natural, controlled atmosphere environment that suspends time. In this way fresh fish and other proteins can be transported virtually anywhere in the world without the need for ice, environmentally harmful polystyrene, or expensive airfreight.

Its spreading......................

Nucleic acid tests of environmental samples from several sites at a wet market in Xicheng district turned out to be positive.

This is a separate market to the main Xinfadi wholesale food market in Beijing’s southwestern Fengtai district where the original outbreak occured.

Thailand shut down all the schools and cancelled the flights too even though the daily cases are almost zero for the past few weeks.

Thailand must be covering up too judging by your opinion?

Anyway, I haven't verified whether what you said is true because there's lots of fake news on the internet.

Probably the salmon, not the workers.

It is correct that schools are canceled - I would not use the word 'cover up'.  (not sure what it is to cover up as far as this event is concerned) ... Now back to level 2  (same as it was before 6 June). Temp test and masks are required - But no lock down, apart from the local sectors that has been identified as positive.

If you want to leave Beijing you need to go to a fever clinic and test - if negative you can leave.

Not sure about flight - Inbound for non Chinese has been a no no for a long time.

Now the activity is tracing and testing + cleaning.

You forgot: Is the new outbreak market upstream from the first one?

Unless the Chinese use their infamous practices of injecting some chemicals, which makes them grow and multiply much faster
