Orton Rd
We often see videos deleted because they are from an 'unapproved source'. To save posters and moderators time what are these unapproved and approved sources?

[see the Internet] The MODs will refer you to the forum rules: 18) Social Media content is not to be used as source material unless it is from a recognized or approved news media source, the source of any such material (Twitter, Facebook etc.) should always be shown

I am not refering to twitter or face book but mostly You Tube.

metisdead
Videos from approved sources on YouTube are usually from recognized news sources like you see on the news channels on the television. Unapproved sources would be YouTube accounts that people create in which they need people to subscribe to in order to survive. As Wikipedia says: The news media or news industry are forms of mass media that focus on delivering news to the general public or a target public. These include print media (newspapers, newsmagazines), broadcast news (radio and television), and more recently the Internet (online newspapers, news blogs, news videos, live news streaming, etc.). https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ALeKk01EQFlSN4TL6gwf-0j2PpQZgGwnhw%3A1592370479982&ei=L6XpXvvOO-mV4-EPz4C0mAs&q=approved+news+media+source&oq=approved+news+media+source&gs_lcp=CgZwc3ktYWIQDDoECAAQR1CK1QJYp_ICYP2DA2gAcAF4AIABhwGIAecBkgEDMS4xmAEAoAEBqgEHZ3dzLXdpeg&sclient=psy-ab&ved=0ahUKEwi7or2miojqAhXpyjgGHU8ADbMQ4dUDCAw
RichCor
Established Newspapers, Television News Stations, Corporate or Government entity official websites ... While ThaiVisa does host threads and post that are newsworthy and informative to its community, the majority of posts are first-person opinion. As such, post seen as being trollish (more so than usual) or attempting to inflaming reaction will be edited, removed or the thread closed. If anyone has a legitimate question as to why something they posted was removed from the forum they can always email support @ thaivisa dot com and politely ask (though they may not like the answer).
