thaivisa - Just too many ads now

Anyone feel like me in that the amount of ads we have to deal with on this site, is just getting ridiculous....

To read a simple article, Im forced to first close the intrusive video, then scroll through the ads that appear within the article, while looking away from the flashing images that appear both in the sidebar, and underneath.  The attached screen captures it, but I'm sure all readers know the experience.

I appreciate ads are necessary to fund the site. but there is a limit, and I think TV has gone way past it....

And thinking about it, easier to close the whole window ... wasn't interested in why an American lady stole those sunnies anyway !

Lock and ban in 3, 2...

You missed a lot by not reading this article. It was an Australian lady and not an American lady! ????

No, you're on your own.

Threads about Thaivisa's advertisers contravene the rules, surprised this is still open!

If I use my adblocker ( very effective ) the Thai Visa site freezes on me. I don't know why they bother, I don't read them and delete them when I can.

It's a bit like Communist propaganda, no-one really listens to it.

"I don't know why they bother..."

They bother to provide members with free advice and entertainment.

She was carrying a bit of weight but no way American!

Adblock pro which is free works very well, this site still retains the sponsored links stuff on the right, but you are free from the videos popping up.

Happy medium with the adds better than saturation which alienates readers.

The poor dears are only trying to recoup their investment. But I use a full armoury of adblockers that zaps everything except an irritating blank box at bottom right, which is, I suspect, an advertisement trying to poke its nose into my browser. Zap!

Just block em easy if you use google chrome, can block ads on other browsers too.
