To read a simple article, Im forced to first close the intrusive video, then scroll through the ads that appear within the article, while looking away from the flashing images that appear both in the sidebar, and underneath. The attached screen captures it, but I'm sure all readers know the experience. I appreciate ads are necessary to fund the site. but there is a limit, and I think TV has gone way past it.... And thinking about it, easier to close the whole window ... wasn't interested in why an American lady stole those sunnies anyway ! I don't know why they bother, I don't read them and delete them when I can. It's a bit like Communist propaganda, no-one really listens to it. But I use a full armoury of adblockers that zaps everything except an irritating blank box at bottom right, which is, I suspect, an advertisement trying to poke its nose into my browser. Zap!
