Pubs, bars may open on July 1 if they follow 22 iron-clad rules

A meeting between the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA)’s special taskforce committee and entertainment venue operators resolved that pubs, bars and entertainment venues could be allowed to open from July 1 provided they strictly observe following 22 practices:

Seven groups of foreigners expected to be allowed entry

The government plans to allow seven groups of foreigners to enter the country, Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, the spokesman of the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, announced today (June 22). The committee has divided these into two main groups.

Airlines reminded of legal duty for refunds for cancelled, rescheduled flights

PHUKET:-- The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has issued two distinct notices to all airlines reminding them of their obligations to passengers affected by cancelled or rescheduled flights, including the conditions for refunding airfares, and to provide food and drinks, and access to free communications services for flights delayed for hours.

SARABURI, Thailand (Reuters) - Thai scientists administered a second dose of an experimental COVID-19 vaccine to monkeys on Monday, looking for another positive response to enable clinical trials in humans as early as October.

EEC Office to push for more foreign businesspersons to be let into Thailand

19 Myanmar patients said to test positive for virus passed 14-day quarantine in Thailand
