bring in the military and start using rubber bullets & tear gas,  start locking the protesters up. nothing more than thug vandals who need to be arrested.

Then thats not protest, thats you re-naming riots to a more pleasant and easily digestible term.    You just can't go and destroy stuff that isnt yours, any way you cut it.

Calling/framing what these people are doing as 'protesting' is so far devoid of any logic that it would be almost amusing if the repercussions weren't so severe.    The actions of these blac

ANTIFA was formed as a communist organisation in Germany in the 1930s. There are lots of articles online expanding upon this topic but I doubt any of them would be allowed on this forum.

It is, however, quite easy to find Soviet flags and symbols displayed alongside the ANTIFA flag at rallies.

People can make up their own minds as to the deeper association.

Your argument against ANTIFA is that they opposed nazis...what a bunch of *****.

What people can do is note that you fail to support any of your extreme claims with something resembling a credible source. If it was that obvious, it wouldn't have been a problem to demonstrate.

The question asked was "are ANTIFA and BLM Marxist?"

My comment was neither for or against ANTIFA.

Once again you show that your comprehension skills need honing.

I didn't think I wrote anything extreme, and it certainly is not up to me what to allow as a source here on TVF. The word "credible" is often ascribed to mainstream media that have demonstrated over and over that they are indeed not credible. (that subject has been done to death on other threads and I have already provided many examples, so I will ignore any demand to restate them).

Have a nice day.

Don't know if this will survive but here is the BLM founders saying they are Marxist trained.

I did not think the post would survive, that is why I kept it separate from my words. It is a shame that the video showing one of the BLM founders actually speaking could not somehow be shown. I doubt that recording appears anywhere on the mainstream so you will just need to look for it yourself.

Disagree with every sentiment you express in that post.

Take Them All Down.

If you take them all down, then you need to start demolishing buildings throughout America

Then you need to rename Yale, Georgetown etc etc

It's a slippery slope that you don't seem able to mentally grasp

Restraining the suspect on his or her abdomen (prone restraint) is a common tactic in ExDS situations, and the white paper used by the MPD instructs the officers to control the suspect until paramedics arrive.

Nah, that’s not what that post implied.

I’ve no problem with renaming places.

Demolishing buildings, that’s just hyperbole.

In other words, you cannot produce any alternative source to what you term "mainstream media", which gets out news that aren't sensational, well-researched and not involving conspiracy theories. I'm not here to sing the praises of this or that media source, and I do not idolize any of them. All got their fair share of bias, mistakes and nonsense. Most of these you term "mainstream" are less prone to these sort of things, or are more open to acknowledging faults in reporting.

Hyperbole as in no buildings were demolished so far. In the context of monument and statues being taken down etc. maybe not all that far-fetched. Renaming is not much of an issue.

I seriously doubt buildings will be demolished. Not seeing that to be honest.

Well the mob beat up a openly gay, extremely liberal Democrat yesterday

Who'd have thunk that a few weeks ago?

Homophobia is every where amongst all political groups and I have nothing but the utmost contempt for bigoted scum who hold such vile prejudices.

I’m confused that anyone would be so crass as to use homophobic behaviour as an argument against protesting racism.

you should read some history, nothing changed without protest, and I don't mean the walking around asking for permission kind of protest. You should also read MLK's Letter From Birmingham Jail, he was very clear what he thought about people who are more concerned with 'order' than justice

that crosses the line from protest to revolution.

If it has nothing to do with homophobia why did you mention the sexual orientation of the victim of this attack?

They are not protesting racism, wake up and smell the coffee

They are nihilistic anarchists

The vast majority are protesting racial prejudice and bigotry.

Just to make the point that the mob shows no mercy and will go to any lengths

If this is becoming a civil war (hyperbole, but let's entertain the notion) then bringing in the Army might have some consequences - such as soldiers siding with protests, for example. Further, armed forces aren't really well equipped or well trained to deal with this. More likely someone will go overboard and just make things worse. Don't recall USA generals being much in favor of the Army's involvement, but what do they know, eh?

It is not relevant if the generals are not in favor. The president declared national emergency and orders the military into these distressed cities. And who are you saying are not equipped to deal with this criminal anarchy??? These saps for mayors and over whelmed police forces .
