Popular Post spidermike007
What some of these rather narrow minded people DO NOT seem to understand is the multitude of things that can be done to strengthen the immune system and prevent the contagion. Nobody is talking about prevention, through diet, and avoiding processed foods, sugar, fast food or other things that weaken the body. Why are Americans getting infected at such high rates and why does the nation have a morbidity rate of over 5%? Americans are by and large very unhealthy people. Many gorge on fast food, fried food and incredibly toxic diets. Combine that with pre existing daibetes, heart disease, morbid obesity and many other factors, and you have a perfect storm that we are now witnessing. 6

While comparisons between COVID 19 and flu are heresy to some, there are striking similarities not only in their common symptoms but also in the hidden collateral damage both are capable of causing. A number of very serious conditions can piggyback on seasonal flu and the corona viruses which spread the common cold. The health problems they cause can linger long after the initial infection has passed. The list run from potentially fatal viral or bacterial pneumonia and includes also some of the same conditions now being attributed to COVID 19 - ranging from temporary loss and smell of taste to inflammation of the brain, heart and liver. Could it be that the coronavirus responsible for the current panicdemic is not really as "novel" as the "experts" would have us believe? https://www.everydayhealth.com/cold-flu-pictures/suprising-health-complications-from-cold-and-flu.aspx Edited June 27, 2020 by Krataiboy 1

Turns out, it goes after (...)”? 1. I didn‘t claim he did. However he used the term „severe seasonal influenza“ when discussing Covid 19, and not „just a flu“, as the poster I replied to. 2. As you could have easily guessed by the prefix „Source“ in front of the link the NEJM article was the source of the „severe seasonal influenza“ quote. If you however agree with the „just a flu“ quote I replied to, that‘s ok, fine, but don‘t start bickering about me showing the source for a Fauci quote. I think „may“ here is just the normal way scientists word their opinions in such studies. Every good scientist knows that what he thinks today being a „law of nature“ can be replaced tomorrow by a better explanation. Laypersons easily make the mistake to Interpret such a „may“ as insecurity, while it is merely acknowledging that It is the current understanding at the time of writing, and can change with new knowledge and data. Yes. He changed his mind because of the accumulation of evidence that wearing a mask is a very powerful way not to contract covid. There's nothing wrong with changing your mind in the face of new evidence. In fact, what's wrong is not changing it.
