Can anybody advise, if somebody may travel with a dog or a cat in their car, from one province to the next? Or are there limitations re illnesses or rabies etc?

They would have all their inoculation booklets.

Never had a problem. Drove through several provinces on Saturday with the dog in the car.

Just drive from phuket to khon kaen with two cats (litter box in the back) on the 17th and was stopped and three different road blocks along the way, including the Sarasin bridge. The officers saw the cats and only made nice comments about them.
