BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand will allow pubs and bars to re-open on Wednesday and plans to let in some foreign travellers after recording five weeks without any community transmission of the coronavirus, a government official said.

PHUKET:-- Tens of thousands of people left out of work leaving Phuket to go home, no tourists, a nightly curfew for nearly three months, an alcohol ban and the deadly Songkran holidays being “postponed” has not stopped 34 people from dying on Phuket’s roads since the start of  the year.
