  • These people were not rioting, or looting or burning, it was a peaceful protest. If worried wait inside and have your escape/defense ready, not become confrontational out front and risk stirring

  • I probably would too if thought that theses mobs are getting too close to my family's safety seeing the burning, looting and carnage those unruly protesters have been engaged in lately...

Yeah um the group of 'protesters' entered a closed gate, marched by several no trespassing signs, and onto these property owners driveway, and this is after WEEKS of violent riots and angry mobs which

They had no right to be in a gated community and have only been peaceful until they start burning and looting. That couple bought a run down mansion in 1988 and spent millions renovating it, they have every right to protect it from so called demonstrators.

So lets point guns at them in case they begin to loot and riot, just in case.

Risking death for a piece of property, which can be replaced seems to me to be a little questionable, as life cannot be replaced and dead people do not need real estate.

Not to mention shooting another person to me is not something I personally want to either support or participate in.

I wonder how many @gungho@ gun supporters here would actually use and or own a gun in reality or are they big balled in type, and neutered in reality.

The guy should be concerned about his wife with that gun. She seems to have no idea about what she is doing. Give her an hour and she will shoot him in the back by accident.

Seems to me that they are just protesting in the street. I understand he is a lawyer, because he is really good at twisting the truth. He would be better of using the semi automatic on himself.

Judging by the way they hold those weapons probably the safest place to be would be where they are aiming. ????

I own guns and the wife owns one here in Thailand and I would 100% defend my property if necessary, and I have zero doubt my wife would do the same here in Thailand.

Just peacefully protesting in the street

The BLM Riots and Protests are responsible for over 17 murders, countless assaults, and an untold amount of property damage since this all started a few weeks ago by my last check.

Wrong.

Rioters, looters and other lawbreakers (including, I think, a nutter with a gun shooting some who were lawfully protesting) are repsonsible for those tings.

Legitimate protest is enshrined in the Constituion.  Or do you only want those bits you agree with to count?

Ah yes, the classic Trump deflection.

Nobody, but the poster you are replying to cant seem to get his neurons to fire properly and comprehend that.

Er...where does this fit with your narratives of "nobody got shot" and "rioters and looters" are responsible?

He is the problem. Americans seem to elect the stupidiest people for POTUS, George W Bush and an ex cowboy film star to name two of them.

Oh the irony of posting that in THIS thread.

And nobody has a problem with protests, but not all 'protests' are legal and enshrined in the constitution.

For example the one in the OP, thats not a legal protest.

George Floyd was murdered by a police department managed by democrats in a state run by democrats.

So why, then, do you and others continue to lump "protestors, looters and rioters" into a single lump?

How would you feel if others lumped all police into a single lumwith these:

You seem to be missing the point that the presidents actions by tweeting this is not helping anyone, if anything it will lead to more violence. Citizens brandishing guns at people is vigilantes, why not just call the police and wait indoors with their guns.

Oh no, a broken gate! Get the guns and shoot them.

Where do you draw the line. At the front door, broken windows, retreat to the bedroom, do you stay and let them destroy the home or do you still say "oh well it's just things" Do you stay in bedroom hoping they don't torch your home?

At what point is enough - enough?  guns and sandbags....

Kum Bah Yah America

Why doesn't Trump get on with leading and running the country instead of playing with his phone all day like some little teeny bopper who has no clues about whats going on around him,America and the rest of the world. Roll on November!.

In the USA people can not just enter your private property and no American should ever have to cower in their homes out of fear of a mob.

That’s just the point, isn’t it. A substantial portion of Americans feel they have to steel themselves whenever they go outside, out of apprehension they’ll be accused or accosted or worse by white people. That’s what these protests are all about. Regardless of how scary the St. Louis protesters may have appeared, I wouldn’t worry too much about Karen and her white husband in their multi-million-dollar mansion; they clearly have the resources to take care of themselves.

So are you saying that every crime committed under a Democratic jurisdiction is the fault of that jurisdiction?

At least you have the honesty to admit that Floyd was murdered.

And you wonder why the protests spread all over the world, that video was horrific in the 21st century and in the biggest superpower in the world.

Politicians set police department guidelines and decide which crimes to prosecute so yeah, I do think that and any person with an IQ above room temperature would think the same. Certainly isnt Trumps fault like you claimed.

It really doesn't matter whether brandishing their guns was justified yes or no. This is about trump pandering to his base again, and again showing he is the divider in chief in stead of president for all Americans.

By that logic, every crime committed in every State with a Republican Governor is thus the fault of the Republicans.  What utter drivel

You see how, in that little noggin of yours, you've twisted what I said into something that I didn't?

The actions of the POLICE are the responsibility of the politicians governing the state - zero to do with Trump, like you originally stated.

But low operating mental faculties seems to be a trend in this thread.
