Who cares what the UK believes? They have handled the crisis woefully.

Those of us fortunate enough to have weathered the storm in Thailand know that the numbers of infected were very low and the outbreak has been contained here.

Amazing that they find covid only where they test for it and no where else.

And so if Thailand is a leading example, then explain to me why they have been left off of the UK's No Quarantine list for travelers.  Folks heading to the UK from Thailand will still have to be placed in quarantine for 14 days provided they are allowed in.  So tell me what the world really believes of Thailand success at no Covid case......

because the government is anticipating stupid reactions from the British. I would bet if you asked random Brits in the street if people from Thailand should be let in quarantine-exempt, 95% would answer "no" without even knowing any specifics.

Asian-looking people are getting assaulted in the UK and in the USA because "they brought the coronavirus".

I can see the government's thinking... let Thais in and then having to apologize because they get assaulted or worse in the UK... they chose the safest option.

Apparently not so considered for EU and Finland. No quarantine required for Thai citizen entering EU zone. China still not included.

In this case UK does seem to have it right then. As long as Thailand is aligned with and begging for Chinese, it should be a pariah.

*yawn*

Thailand has no cases with confirmed local transmissions for over a month.

It must hurt seeing Thailand doing so well while your country fails so miserably.

Oh well. Chok dee khrap.

Seems legit. ????

Big surprise it does seem so to you.

All of these comments are xenophobic speculation. Where is your evidence for fudging numbers?
