Phayao Immigration Office closing early?

Went to Phayao I/O 2 days ago o get a re-entry permit.  Arriving at Office at 15:20, I was told that office was closed.  it seems that Phayao office is now closing a 15;00.  reason given was that hey have tp take the money taken that day to the bank before 15:30 each day.

I noted that the "opening hours" on the front of the building hd the closing times blanked out, so I suspect that this is an official move by Phayao I/O to leave early, as that office is not normally busy.

No idea how long this has been going on for, or how long it will last, but could be permanent.   So best to try to get there in the mornings.  I went back the next day at 10:00 and got permit with no trouble.
