Help Me Lop3..

Featured Replies

Please help..! I need to get an Imm o visa so my school can do my work permit. They havent got there s#it together to organise the papers for an Imm b so this is my only option. I'm getting married anyway very soon. Also the soon-to-be is gonna "drop" (a daughter!! hooray!,) in 3 months.

I have my old school's tax forms from last year, 'cept they lied and said i only made 20K. I had a work permit for nearly 3 years, I have a bank book that I've paid 25-30K a month into for 3 years, (but taken it out.)

If I take my marriage cert, and all the Thai stuff (her id, house book etc) will I be ok with just my bank book? I can speak Thai well and am young(ish!) and presentable....

This is doing my head in. What's my best "all-me-life-in-Thailand" option Mr Lopburi?

:o

If you're applying for a non O outside the country in a embassy or consulate, they most likely just wanna see the figure of 400k in your bank account. Its when your going for the visa extension at immigration that you need to show proof of your income, 40K per month, from you, from your wife or from the both of you combined. I think KL is not to strict about funds for a non O but Singapore is asking to see 400k in the bank to issue a one year. You could proably get a single entry non O from anywhere whitout having to show funds anyway, but for the one year non O, you will need to show some finds, and the marriage cert.

Once you get married it should not be hard to obtain a non immigrant O visa of single entry but only KL in the local 'may' issue a multi entry. But once you have the visa you should be able to obtain the work permit and get an income but it is likely to take awhile before you will have tax proof of 40k family income for extension of stay and the smoother road.

You will need the marriage certificate and her ID card unless you are over age 50 and have 800k in bank account somewhere. If that is the case Singapore may issue a multi entry to you with just bank proof.

Cool..."the smoother road" sounds nice....

Thanx Lop3.

A 3rd party "done it before" can get me a wp with my school if i produce a 3month imm o. Then 1 year extentions with 3 month reporting, mun derm?

If i stay 3 years, same circumstances, can i get "easy life?"

I want easy life AND smoother road... :o

How can your fiancee be 6 months pregnant and you're not married yet? That's impossible!

*I'm just kidding, btw... congratulations*

It's not normal i know.. I'vre been "putting it off" for nearly a year. Her family don't want any cash or anything, I just haven't got round to it. She's not an ex "rent-a-squeeze." She used to work at our local mall, i smiled at her a few times, then we got talking, it went from there. I've been here seven years and can speak, well, better than most, :o which is a massive advantage in this country. And i know what they are say about us too.. :D

She can't speak English too which is nice... :D

I don't know where i'm going with this really..... erm.. great forum by the way, bin reading it for years, never posted. I'm from Stratford-upon-avon by ther way.

Which is nice. :D
