Football coach in Phuket arrested for two-year overstay

PHUKET:-- Officers at Immigration Division Region 6 have arrested a Cameroon man working as a coach at a football academy on the island for two-years overstay.

Air force commander blames Egyptian soldier fiasco on ‘loophole’

The Royal Thai Air Force chief ACM Maanat Wongwat finally responded on Thursday (July 16) to queries on the case of an infected Egyptian soldier, who along with other Egyptian military personnel was allowed to stay in Thailand from July 8 to 11.

Thailand may get its first female Supreme Court president

The Supreme Court of Thailand is expected to get its first female president, when the Judicial Commission meets on July 24th to approve the nomination of Mrs. Methinee Chalothorn, currently Vice President of the Supreme Court, as the country’s new Chief Justice.

CAAT tightens up control of stopover charter and special flights

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has tightened the control of chartered and special flights by Thai airliners and international flights, which land in Thailand for refueling or brief stopovers with their passengers remaining on board.

Transport Ministry pledges to help country recover from COVID-19

Thailand accepts World Bank’s climate change grant

BANGKOK (NNT) - In addition to several projects and agreements approved in the Cabinet meeting yesterday, the government has agreed to accept a 5 million dollar U.S. grant from the World Bank to reduce emissions of hydrofluorocarbon gas (HFC), which is one of the greenhouse gases affecting the globe’s ozone layer.

No Thai passengers in flight to China, Thai Lion Air clarifies after Beijing imposes ban

Rayong department stores reopen after two-day closure but customers stay away
