Aforek Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Hello, I know a guy who says that his immigration stops the 90 days on the day before extension for instance, renewal is due on 1st august, let'say that 90 days starts from june 15 th, normally it should be about till sept 14 , but immigration stopped them on july 31 th have you heard of it ? he says it's the Udon thani I.O
Peter Denis Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Yes, there have been several reports of IOs that automatically 'reset' your 90-day reporting due date when handling your application for your 1-year extension of stay. Note: When they also require you to come back after 3 months to check your 800K bank-balance in case you are using the funds-in-bank method and are on a retirement extension, that would save you the trouble of having to come twice to the IO when you do your 90-day reports in person.
ubonjoe Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Offices that reset the 90 day reports on the day you do your extension will also do a new 90 day report slip. If they do not do one it means it was not reset. They do not start the report date from the day you current extension ends.
