CCSA discusses further relaxation of lockdown measures

The government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) and various ministries will start discussions on Friday on further relaxation of the lockdown measures, CCSA spokesman Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin said.

 

The issues to be discussed on Friday cover:

 

1. 100 per cent on-site learning, which would allow students to fully return to school.

 

2. Full-seat public transportation.

 

3. Sport competitions with spectators.

 

4. Foodservice on the plane.

 

5. Extending the closing time of entertainment venues from midnight to 2am.

 

The outcome of the discussions are expected to be known in a few weeks.

Considering that

a lot of schools have on their own gone to 100% in class

 

all seat son buses are being used

what sports events

there are no long flights that really require food service

noone is going to bars

 

this is a laff

Bar dancers and waitresses should be required to wear masks only. You don't catch COVID from any other parts on display. That will boost bar business, and future tourism.

I have never understood the "no meal service on planes" part.

If one of the people making the food has the virus , he could spread the virus to all the passengers ?

Maybe if the person is a compulsory nose picker, and don't give a damn about hand hygien? Seriously, I find it highly unlikely to be of any risk. 

I guess the emergency decree will stay in place?

Now 70+ days and counting for no infections.
Another month or two just to play it safe & stay in control.

Me neither - the only theory I could come up with is that they decided that food and drink aren't really essential on short flights, so they don't want passengers to have any reason to remove their masks on the plane.

"No meal" is not only on flights within Thailand.
