hahaha, which agency, you are not asking which NGO that would want your help as a real volunteer

The agents can connect applicants to an NGO.  Some don't require much 'work' done, evidently, so it works out to paying "donations" to immigration (most of the money), the "agent," and the the sponsoring NGO in exchange for the visa/extension.

Immigration demand their envelope regardless, and that's what decides whether the visa/extension is "available" or not.

I've got a new neighbour in the house opposite me, an English guy who got "voluntarily stranded" out here back in early April. The agent he uses has advised him to pay 50K for a volunteer visa as the best way forward when the amnesty ends. It sounds a lot cheaper than the Elite visa, anyway, as long as nobody expects you to go and spend a few weeks clearing land mines, lol.

Did he go through with it? How'd he like their service? Did he happen to say the name of the agency?
