snoop1130
Phrae’s main city inundated overnight by heavy rainfall By THE NATION Heavy continuous rain since Thursday (August 19) night has left residents in Phrae’s Muang district struggling with severe flooding. In some areas, the water level was reported to be nearly 2 metres high. Locals said flooding in and around Wat Ban Phan Choen temple in the Cho Hae sub-district was bad because a canal nearby had overflowed. Cho Hae mayor Kasorn Pralat has deployed a team of officials to help people and assess the damage. He said wet mud has made a local road inaccessible to traffic. Meanwhile, Muang district’s Toong Kwao sub-district was under more than a metre of water.
