identity fraud/credit check

Featured Replies

hi TVF

my girlfriend   ,who is thai ,  and myself was in thailand last year ( i know it's a bit late too ask but hey ho ) . she left some of her personal information in the hotel on the desk , passport , thai I.D. card and a copy of a land chanote . she is worried that a maid may have tried to copy it while we were out

is there a way to check if someone has applied for a loan in her name , or possibly to run a credit check ,   in thailand ?

we both live in the U.K. btw .

apologies if this is the wrong froum, but i thought it was a general topic and not an economy one

thanks

The National Credit Beaureau (NCB) is your go-to place. It's easy and quick in person but I've never tried by remote control.

How did she manage to exit Thailand without her passport ... was it the one she entered on.
