A British expat has died in a motorbike accident after plunging into a canal in Cambodia.

The 48-year-old man missed a bridge while riding his motorcycle 'at speed' and his body was later found in the water by two other motorcyclists.

The man had been living in Cambodia with a Filipino wife, it is believed.

RIP, you were way too young to die.

Here today, gone today. Death smiles at each and every one of us. All we can do is smile back.

Missed a bridge, riding at speed on one of those shopping bikes? Sounds like he wasn't paying attention but still a tragedy for friend's and family.

Never a truer said feller. My wife sometimes says “Everyone knows their birthday, but nowbody know’s the day they are going to die”

According to the report there were no witnesses to the accident so all this is is speculation.  The true reason is not known.  Claims that he was going too fast cannot be proved and calling him stupid is hardly fair at this point.

Usual Daily Mail style of reporting, short on facts, long on sensationalism.

According to the post mortem he was driving at speed, wow post mortems have come a long way. RIP young man, condolences to your wife.
