How many submarines will make Thailand strong?

At least 1 per admiral with a couple of spares - just in case someone else wants to play at boats and subs.

I guess the South China Sea is forever lost now to the Chinese!

Not a problem, they will hand-out licences same as for car and bikes and then the navy guys can join

the population control game.

Apparently they have had a Navy unit in training since the last batch of submarines arrived from Japan in 1937.1409951561_-PPTVHD2020-08-2418-00.ts_snapshot_13.36_2020_08.25_12_10_02.jpg.c011708f18bbdf8eafc525a11743c00a.jpg

Don’t worry plenty of Chinese Coach drivers driving around, they can give the CCP a full complete tour of their New Province

If you take a cursory glance at the geography of Thailand, you can see that submarines are simply not necessary. It's absolutely ridiculous. None of the countries in the vicinity are a risk, Malaysians are too smart to declare war over nothing, Myanmar and Cambodia are way too poor to prevail against Thailand, so why do they think they need subs?

Plus, as these subs are coming from China, you can be certain that they will have trackers and be filled with malware, viruses and trojans, sending info back to the CCP (who are really lovely people, in case they are reading this).

Where are the strict libel and defamation laws when you need them?

Oh sorry, can not apply them against the ruling elite....

Because this whole news is a conspiracy text from beginning to the end

Clearly there were no listeners who had been educated at Georgetown.

Does anyone know what progress is being made in the project to make the Thai language replace English as the world's 'lingua franca' as Chan-Ocha predicted it would?

  • Popular Post

It is certainly true, that the Chinese would love certain people and set-ups gone for good.

But in general, Thailands oligarch elite overdid it for decades without caring whatsoever due to their shortsightedness. The dog got awaken and will not go back to sleep again. Either imminent drastic changes are implemented without further delay or the entire lot is being shipped out anytime soon.

It has nothing to do with foreigners; this is an absolute Thai affair, to be dealt and done with by Thais only. Question is, how long will it take for the uprising to gain sufficient momentum; a very dangerous type of fire is being played with by the institutions and present power holders. You cannot seriously have Prawatch and cronies goofing around in the government house, seriously considering the purchase of submarines while the country's economy is dying. People are with their backs at the wall and in corners; dangerous argumentation if those no-haves have absolutely nothing to lose anymore.

Be warned, the writing is on the wall, in big capital letters. I - for one - just hope that all this will be sorted out in an amicable and peaceful manner, without bloodshed, army tanks and brute force as in the past ........

They got that part right.

I wonder if they mean Thais living/studying abroad?

Seems they don't really know what they mean.

It seems all the examples cited as public harassment were used by the pro-military politicians and public supporters against the Yingluck government. But now with pro-military factions in control of the government, its claims of political resistance sources is reversed.  It's not very credible that the Prayut government is a political victim now.

Asst Prof Noppadon Kannika, the director of Super Poll Research Centre, said the survey on public harassment was carried out from August 20-28 with 5,962 respondents via social media and 1,121 through direct contact.

I wonder what salary he's on for publishing this rubbish?

I'm sorry, Thailand is a bywater. The Vietnam war is long over, and nobody cares very much what Thailand does.

When push comes to shove, it's likely to be nasty and the country doesn't have the umpire it used to have, who with the utterance of a couple of words quickly defuse the situation.

I agree, there is trouble brewing - it is likely longer term than short depending how those who have the sway, or think they have, play their cards - any mis-steps and they will be well and truly euchred - and rightly so.

More blatant evidence that the (Sino) Thai government is following the Chinese Communist Party Playbook down to the finest detail. They will pay if they continue down this path.

Looks like his bio was written by a 5 year old with special needs.

I honestly dismissed this at first as a joke, then double checked the old Google, and sure enough, he did actually say this. I am absolutely flabbergasted, gobsmacked and in disbelief. He's in charge of a country of 70 million people!

I wonder how long he thought it would take to have citizens of New York, Paris and London all speaking Thai?
