Location of Chiang Mai immigration

Forgive me if this has been covered recently, but I couldn't find the info using the search function. Where does one go to apply for the 30 day extension under the amnesty in CM? near the airport or Promenade mall? i've been given conflicting advice.

Its just before the entrance to airport,if you are in a car

you will most likely have to do a u-turn a bit further on,

and park in the massage place,which is opposite, 20 Thb.
