I followed my friend's direction but my Mead was not so good. Oh yes, my friends drunk all and loved it. 

 

 I made 3 using Lalvin D-47/1118 and regular yeast. 

 

Would you please share your recipe

Looked on Soi 7: No blue boys, all were shades of pinkish yellow, and an odd black one.

ginger beer ginger, lemon juice, sugar, bread yeast. I also have a hydrometer so can work out % when finished, add more syrup to taste. Lime juice makes it more acidic yuk

Surely the double pricing, the wife, the taxis ripping you off, the poor driving, the chickens in the village and the corruption to name but a few are enough to make you mad? Or do you actually need a hammer to knock yourself out rather than the mead?

My ginger beer made me mad today. It's the second time I've had a tsunami. Last week a bottle exploded. Today while opening a bottle the cap blew off and I got a nice ginger beer shower. I must adopt better safety measures. Waterproof clothing and eye protection. Better still, to drink it quicker. Hic!????
